Mixed Berry Protein Oats: your new breakfast go-to!

How many times have you said to yourself that you "just don't know what to eat for breakfast"? If you are like most of the population you are likely confusing yourself and trying to wrap your head around 43 different ongoing diet trends, all the myths, the labelling and wondering if you should even bother trying BECAUSE IT'S ALL SO CONFUSING... a little exaggerated, but also spot on. Right?
K, so this staple recipe has been one my go-to's long before I was ever a coach. I ate this when I prepped for bodybuilding competitions and I still eat it today as I nourish this little growing human inside of me! Oh, and baby daddy LOVES it (more than I even do) so let's just say it's a fan fav in our home...and now it's about to be in yours.
The best part is that if you get bored with it, just switch it up. I offer a tip on the recipe card but by simply changing up your ingredients (the fruit and the toppings) you can feel as if you are eating a different breakfast each week.
I usually make enough to last us 4-5 days, and yes, it stays great for the week in the fridge. I recommend pre portioning it out while it's hot so that it saves you that much more time in the morning from scooping it out and wondering if you have the right portion happening.
Oh and something I used to do to add more fiber was grate zucchini into the oats as well, it fluffs them up even more than the egg whites do, and you get in some greens with fiber (with zero taste of them).
