Double Chocolate Brownie Batter Jars
It's THAT time of the month when the chocolate cravings are running wild.
You know the drill. Immediately go to the kitchen like a lost animal scrounging for your sugar hit, or at least that's me anyhow. Not even just any sugar though, I want rich chocolate.
Back in the day I'd make protein recipes but then tweak them just to spice up how I enjoyed them. Taking a few protein balls and throwing them in a bowl with some cashew milk is glorious, or breaking them up and crumbling on top of your next thick smoothie is unreal! Eat that frosty with a spoon! They also could be your topping to your ninja creami concoctions, if you're into that sort of jam!
So on this day I took my protein ball batter, made it double chocolate-y rich and whipped them into these mini jars I bought ages ago for chia puddings - linked here.
There's approx two balls into each jar, maybe slightly more. But you don't have to eat a full jar, but for me taking a spoon into one as if I'm eating ice cream from a tub but make it even better, is hitting!
My protein used - lower sugar lower carb option that I love for balls, baking etc because I can add in natural sugars like maple syrup, honey and dates while still keeping the sugars down for sweet treats! Linked here!
My son LOVED this variation too - he happily ate his teaspoon of chocolate goodness as his treat this past week!
