The other day I got a DM asking me about my opinion on cashews now being considered unhealthy.

So here’s my opinion.

I choose not to allow fear to dictate my food consumption.

In my life I try my best and leave the rest.

For me that looks like using cashews to make homemade cashew milk because it’s a better option than buying the store bought ones with added fillers and ingredients.

The oats I’m using in this recipe are gluten free and unsprayed, but I’ll enjoy an oat milk tea latte once in awhile while without fear if their oats are sprayed.

I know that what I'm consuming on a regular basis is healthier than most pre packaged store bought options, and I also know I could eat even cleaner but I’m happy where I’m at.

At the end of the day the stress you are putting on yourself to be perfect, eat everything perfectly is likely causing more stress and inflammation than the cashews.

So if you’re like me and you want to make yummy at home desserts and treats, because they are a healthier option, despite containing oats and peanut butter then you’re in the right place and you should definitely make these cups.
